The Creative Curriculum and the California Early Learning Guidelines provide the basis for our teachers to expertly combine academic learning, experiences, and structured play in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.
We engage our students in a variety of activities that help them discover, explore and learn to their fullest potential. These include:
- Cooperative Learning Structures
- Integrated Technology
- Differentiated Instruction to blend auditory, visual and tactile learners
- Goal Setting and Life Skills
- Cross-curricular Instruction
- Assessment for Learning
- Innovative Activities include critical and creative thinking and discussion.
Our teachers participate in on-going professional development and are dedicated to developing lifelong learners. They genuinely care about children and their families, and have the sensitivity and knowledge to understand a child’s individual developmental needs and learning styles. Taking the time to help each child develop and discover their own fascinating world of play and learning ensures that each student receives the unique experiences that they need.
Our teachers strive to continuously perform at the highest level and are kept current in the latest teaching techniques. To accomplish this, we sponsor professional development days and use internal and external trainers and consultants.
